Rev. Ben Groth is the pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in New Orleans, LA. He and his wife Chloe, a violinist and Suzuki Violin teacher, live in New Orleans along with their two children. Ben is also a Ph.D. Candidate in the History Department at Tulane University, studying the role of baptism in the creation of race in colonial America. Previously, Ben served as a College Chaplain at Berea College in Berea, KY. Ben earned his M.Div. from Yale Divinity School along with a Certificate from the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. He has also completed a Th.M. in Lutheran Ministry Studies from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He graduated from Oberlin College with degrees in Piano Performance, English, and Religion.

Worship Leader - Louis Corder
Louis Corder hails from Nashville, TN; and is a student at Leavell College, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Music With an Emphasis in Worship. Louis’ musical journey began around the age of 5 with singing Earth, Wind & Fire in the car with his mother. At the young age of 12, he became the music director at his fathers church (Swift Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church), while arranging for and conducting ensembles throughout middle school, high school, and college. Aside from his academic endeavors, Louis strives to develop his musical gifts as a classically trained tenor, singer/songwriter, vocal arranger, musician, and producer. He is joyfully married to his wife of just over one year, Tameria Corder. They reside in New Orleans.
